2027: Kaduna People Will Reward Performance with Their Votes for Tinubu and Uba Sani — VMB

Kaduna, Nigeria – The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Uba Sani on Public Affairs, Hon. Victor Mathew Bobai, has expressed confidence that the people of Kaduna State will continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani beyond 2027, citing what he described as visible achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, security, and economic development across the state.

Speaking during a telephone conversation with media monitor Kayode Philips, Hon. Bobai said the strategic partnership between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani, Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, and the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.), has significantly expanded development opportunities for Kaduna State.

According to him, Governor Uba Sani’s administration has demonstrated purposeful leadership through the execution of people-oriented projects and by leveraging strong federal partnerships to attract investments and development initiatives to Kaduna State.

Hon. Bobai highlighted ongoing road construction and rehabilitation projects across the state, rural infrastructure expansion, agricultural support programmes, youth and women empowerment initiatives, and strategic transportation development efforts, including initiatives aimed at advancing the Kaduna Light Rail Project.

He noted that the education sector has continued to receive significant attention through the renovation and construction of schools, support for tertiary institutions, expansion of educational opportunities, and efforts aimed at improving learning outcomes for young people.

“The people of Kaduna State can see the impact of governance in our schools, roads, healthcare facilities, agricultural programmes, and empowerment initiatives. These are practical interventions that are improving lives and creating opportunities for citizens,” Bobai stated.

The Governor’s aide also pointed to major healthcare investments, including efforts to strengthen specialist healthcare delivery, expand hospital infrastructure, and support the development of advanced medical facilities, including initiatives associated with the Millennium City development corridor and cancer treatment services designed to reduce medical tourism and improve healthcare access for residents.

On agriculture, he said Kaduna State has continued to position itself as a leading agricultural hub through support for farmers, increased access to inputs, mechanization programmes, rural road development, and the attraction of agricultural processing and value-chain investments capable of creating jobs and stimulating economic growth.

Hon. Bobai further commended Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas for attracting educational support programmes, scholarships, youth empowerment schemes, healthcare interventions, agricultural assistance, and community development projects that have positively impacted thousands of constituents across Zaria and Kaduna North.

He also praised the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.), for his service to Nigeria and his continued commitment to peace, national security, youth development, humanitarian interventions, and the promotion of unity and stability across the country.

According to Bobai, the appointment of distinguished Kaduna indigenes into strategic national positions has enhanced the state’s influence in national affairs and strengthened collaboration between Kaduna State and the Federal Government.

“The emergence of Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas as Speaker of the House of Representatives and the appointment of General Christopher Gwabin Musa as Honourable Minister of Defence are clear indications that Kaduna State continues to occupy a strategic place in national leadership and governance,” he said.

He maintained that the developmental partnership between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani has contributed to increased federal presence in Kaduna State, attracting projects, programmes, and investments aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.

“From education to healthcare, from infrastructure to agriculture, from security to economic empowerment, the people can see evidence of leadership and commitment. Ultimately, the people of Kaduna State will make their choice at the ballot box, but I believe that performance, development, and service to the people will remain important factors in shaping public support,” Bobai concluded.
