‎MINISTER OF DEFENCE DECORATES NEWLY PROMOTED SENIOR OFFICERS OF THE NIGERIAN ARMY IN MINISTRY OF DEFENSE

‎ the honourable minister of defence, GENERAL CG MUSA OFR (Rtd), presided over a significant decoration ceremony, recently elevating senior officers’ of the nigerian army.

‎ The event, held at the Ministry of Defence, saw Lieutenant Colonel NV Olimma and Lieutenant Colonel S Yakuba among the distinguished beneficiaries of the recent promotion exercise within the Nigerian Army.
‎The ceremony underscored the commitment of the Nigerian Armed Forces to recognizing dedication and meritorious service. General Musa, a retired officer himself, personally adorned the newly promoted officers with their new ranks. A touching highlight of the event was the involvement of the officers’ spouses, who assisted the Minister in the decoration, symbolizing the crucial role of family support in military careers. The auspicious occasion was graced by the presence of the officers’ families, alongside a host of senior officers from the Ministry of Defence, encompassing both serving and retired personnel.
