Why the 2027 Presidential Election Already Appears Favourable to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Supporters and coordinators of the Friends of CG MUSA social media platforms across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones have expressed strong confidence that the political atmosphere ahead of the 2027 presidential election is already tilting in favour of the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the group, the growing acceptance of the administration across several political and social blocs reflects increasing trust in continuity, national stability, and strategic leadership under the current government.
The group explained that the central objective of Friends of CG MUSA is to mobilize grassroots voting strength from different political strata, communities, youth groups, professional bodies, women associations, and stakeholders across the federation toward supporting the reelection bid of President Tinubu in 2027.
They emphasized that the Minister of Defence and the wider defence leadership under the administration of General Christopher Gwabin Musa including the contributions associated with him , have strengthened public confidence in the government’s commitment to national security, stability, and unity.
The movement further stated that many of its members became loyal members of the All Progressives Congress because of their admiration for General Christopher Gwabin Musa’s patriotism, discipline, and loyalty to national service.
According to the coordinators:
“Many Nigerians identify with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu because of the confidence and opportunity he extended to CG MUSA and several patriotic Nigerians serving within this administration. Where CG MUSA stands, many of us shall also stand.”
The group noted that their nationwide mobilisation strategy is already expanding rapidly across:
the North West,
North East,
North Central,
South West,
South East,
and South South geopolitical zones.
They projected that their structures and affiliated support networks would mobilize no fewer than five million supporters nationwide ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking jointly, Hon. Victor Mathew Bobai, National Convener; Hon. Saidu Adamu, National Chairman Advisory Board; and Dr. Olayinka Adeosun Olumide, National Coordinator of Citizens Support for Good Governance, described President Tinubu’s reelection prospects as increasingly strong due to the growing coalition of support around the administration.
The partners maintained that President Tinubu would secure victory convincingly because of the commitment and strategic support coming from patriotic stakeholders aligned with General Christopher Gwabin Musa, whom they described as their Grand Patron and a symbol of national unity, discipline, and responsible leadership.
They added that their coalition would continue engaging citizens through advocacy, media sensitization, grassroots mobilization, community engagement, and strategic political participation aimed at consolidating support for the administration ahead of the 2027 polls.
