2027: Friends of CG MUSA Unveils Door-to-Door Campaign Structure — 100 Volunteers Per Ward, 100 Per Polling Unit for Tinubu, APC Governors and All APC Candidates
Strategic Engagement Group rolls out Supportive Operational Methodology anchored on 100×10 Grassroots Model targeting 8.8 million citizen contacts
ABUJA — The national leadership of Friends of CG MUSA has approved a comprehensive Door-to-Door Campaign and National Grassroots Mobilization & Voter Participation Strategy to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all APC Governorship candidates and all other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The strategy, slated for rollout from October 1, 2026, was compiled and coordinated by the Convener of Friends of CG MUSA and developed as a Supportive Operational Methodology of the Strategic Engagement Group of the Friends of CG MUSA Door-to-Door Campaign.
Under the operational assignment, the group will mobilize 100 grassroots volunteers per ward and 100 volunteers per polling unit cluster across the federation as a structured, voluntary support base for President Tinubu, APC Governors and all APC candidates.
According to the Strategic Engagement Group, the methodology is built around a simple, scalable and measurable framework: NATIONAL → STATE → LGA → WARD → COMMUNITY → GRASSROOTS UNIT.
At the centre is the 100 × 10 Grassroots Model:
Each ward will establish 100 grassroots mobilisers. Each mobiliser will voluntarily connect with 10 eligible citizens for voter-information, registration-support and civic education.
This translates to 1,000 potential citizen contacts per ward. Using Nigeria’s 8,809 Registration Areas/Wards as the national baseline, the theoretical national mobilisation capacity is 8,809 × 100 × 10 = 8,809,000 potential citizen contacts.
The leadership emphasized that the 8.809 million figure represents potential grassroots reach and mobilisation capacity, not a guarantee of votes or a forecast of the election result.
Supportive Operational Assignment
As outlined by the Strategic Engagement Group, the assignment is designed as a supportive, non-coercive civic operation for the entire APC ticket:
NATIONAL COORDINATOR: Overall coordination, national reporting standards, and management of the National Situation Room.
STATE COORDINATORS: Supervise LGA structures, coordinate support for APC Governorship and other APC candidates in the state, and submit weekly state reports.
LGA COORDINATORS: Coordinate ward structures, verify field reports and escalate verified concerns.
WARD COORDINATORS: Establish community contact units, coordinate the 100-person mobilisers, and refer citizens to official INEC channels for registration and verification.
GRASSROOTS / 100-PERSON COORDINATORS: Maintain voluntary contact lists, share verified voter information on President Tinubu, APC Governors and all APC candidates, and report community concerns while strictly respecting the secrecy of the ballot.
The digital coordination hub for the operation will be www.frndsofcgmusa.com.ng, which will handle voluntary member registration, voter-registration information, election education, misinformation reporting and incident escalation.
Strategic Engagement, Verification and Peaceful Participation
The Strategic Engagement Group said the methodology will operate on five principles: REGISTER • INFORM • ORGANISE • VERIFY • PARTICIPATE PEACEFULLY.
A key component is the National Situation Room, which will produce a Weekly National Grassroots Situation Report (NGSR) covering participation, registration referrals, community concerns, information environment, and verified field reports. All electoral concerns are to be verified and referred to appropriate authorities.
The Group stressed strict operating safeguards:
Participation must be voluntary, no intimidation or coercion, the secret ballot must be respected, personal data must be protected under Nigeria’s data protection laws, and volunteers will not act as law-enforcement officers.
In a statement, the leadership of Friends of CG MUSA said the structure is intended to complement INEC’s official voter education by connecting eligible Nigerians with accurate information on voter registration, verification and peaceful participation, while building grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all APC Governors and all APC candidates.
“The strength of this model is its multiplier effect — 1 mobiliser to 10 citizens, 100 mobilisers to 1,000 contacts per ward, and 8,809 wards to a national capacity of 8.8 million contacts. It gives us simplicity, scalability, measurability and direct grassroots reach for the APC from top to bottom,” the Convener noted.
The Strategic Engagement Group added that the 100-per-ward and 100-per-polling-unit deployment will be implemented in five phases — Establish, Build, Inform, Monitor, and Participate — with weekly reporting templates to track membership, registration referrals, community engagement and verified activities.
The nationwide recruitment of volunteers is expected to commence immediately after the October 1st launch.
