Friends of CG Musa Women and Youth Leaders Mobilise Support for Tinubu
ABUJA, August 27, 2026 — Women and youth leaders of Friends of CG Musa have reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing the administration’s efforts on national security and the role of the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa.
The National Women Leader, Hon. Marriam Mamman Audu, said women volunteers under the platform were preparing for a nationwide grassroots engagement initiative designed to take their message directly to communities through door-to-door interactions.
The National Youth Leader, Mr. Dennis Alizor, an indigene of Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, said the group’s support for President Tinubu was strongly linked to its confidence in General Musa’s role in the Federal Government.

Alizor said the organisation would continue to mobilise its volunteer network to engage citizens on national issues, governance and security, while encouraging peaceful democratic participation.
The Deputy National Youth Leader and Kaduna State Youth Leader, Mallam Musa Yuguda, also expressed confidence in the President’s support base in Northern Nigeria.
According to Yuguda, the President’s political strength in the North remains significant, but he urged greater emphasis on entrusting national responsibilities and resources to individuals with proven integrity and commitment.

Yuguda further commended Hon Victor Mathew Bobai,the National Convener of Friends of CG Musa and Senior Special Assistant to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, saying he was working tirelessly to strengthen the organisation’s grassroots structure and support the return of President Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and other APC candidates across the federation.
The women and youth leaders said Friends of CG Musa would continue to operate as a voluntary grassroots platform, with its members participating in political communication, community engagement and social-media activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
The organisation said its activities would focus on peaceful engagement, national unity, security awareness and communicating its views on the performance of the Tinubu administration and other political leaders.
