A Call by Hon. Abubakar Mahmoud Jarman Abakwa
Nigeria is going through a difficult security phase, from banditry in the Northwest to other threats across regions. In times like these, leadership and unity matter most.
Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR (Rtd), brings to the Ministry of Defence decades of operational experience, having served this nation at the highest levels of military command. Since his appointment, he has shown clarity of purpose: restructure, re-equip, and re-motivate our Armed Forces while strengthening collaboration with communities and other security agencies.
As a military contractor and consultant, I understand the weight of this task. No country defeats insecurity through the military alone. It requires the support of citizens — with credible information, with morale, and with prayer.
I therefore call on all Nigerians, regardless of region, religion, or party, to rally behind the Hon. Minister of Defence and our Armed Forces. Let us support them, encourage them, and pray for them. The task is hard, but with God and with unity, Nigeria will prevail.
May Allah grant wisdom to our leaders, protection to our troops, and peace to our nation. Ameen.
